Elektra Studios are based on the 3rd floor of the Temple Bar Music Centre. We offer high quality recording and professional equipment at project studio rates. Elektra 1 is ideal for bands just starting out to record demos or EPs. Elektra 2 is suited for more established bands/musicians for anything from demo recordings and pre-production to full length album recordings on a budget. Elektra Studios are also connected directly to the Button Factory venue. This enables us to record any gig in the venue independent of the front of house and mix engineers. The studio is equipped with a dual control room set up which houses both Elektra 1 and Elektra 2. The control room and live room are spacious with plenty of sunlight offering a relaxing set up to record in. The newly added vocal booth adds a long needed isolated room for vocals and amplifiers.

Elektra 1 is equipped with a 32 channel D&R Orion analogue mixing console, hardware outboard processors and effects and a iZ Technologies Radar24 24-track multitrack recorder. Elektra 1 also has a ProTools LE system with a DigiDesign 003R interface which is synced up to the Radar24 for 32 additional tracks of recording. Here's a complete list of the Equipment.

Elektra 2 is equipped with a Pro Tools HD3 Accel System, a DigiDesign Control 24 control surface and a long list of industry standard plug-ins. With Elektra 2 you also get access to all Elektra 1 equipment. It is now possible to record 32 simultaneous inputs with 16 going trough the Control24 using ProTools HD converters and 16 trough the D&R mixing console using the acclaimed converters of out iZ Technologies Radar24. You can also send 16 channels back out trough the Radar24 and mix on the D&R Orion.
